L.I.F.E. groups resume September 12

Small groups are a place for people to form close friendships by studying, praying and fellowshipping together. Over the past 20 years, our small group program (L.I.F.E. groups) has been the impetus for introducing people to the Lord and His church, maturing numerous new Christians in their faith, caring for our missionaries, serving our community and taking care of our own members in crisis situations. Along the road, close friendships have been made and strengthened. This fall we will again offer a variety of groups, meeting in various parts of our area. Beginning Sunday, August 29, sign-up lists will be located under the balcony. If you have questions about any of the groups, you may call Scott Waltman (265-9653) or the leader of any group you might be interested in. Generally, groups will meet on Sunday evenings. There will continue to be a group that meets at our building for a Sunday evening assembly. For a list of the group leaders and their locations, click here.

Campaign pledges top $1 million

Our campaign chair announced March 28 that our campaign pledge is now over $1 million, $1,001,356.33582.33 to be exact. We appreciate the continued commitment to our future. To date, $343,934.36 has been received in the 3-year commitment to reach our goal.

Committees are working on various projects. The Nursery team, led by LeeAnn Kruckenberg, is actively researching the needs of our ever expanding baby and toddler population. The sign committee, led by Susan Carr, completed its project, as evidenced by the beautiful electronic sign in our front “yard”. If you would like to help on any of the committees, please feel free to contact the church office or one of the team leaders.

Are you interested in having input into the Simple House program expansion?

Our “Now Is The Time” campaign included a significant financial commitment to expand the work of Simple House. We will begin dreaming and planning for what this expansion might look like. If you are interested in having input, contact Mary Manlove, Jane Bianco, or Rick Cline.
