Are you interested in having input into the Simple House program expansion?

Our “Now Is The Time” campaign included a significant financial commitment to expand the work of Simple House. We will begin dreaming and planning for what this expansion might look like. If you are interested in having input, contact Mary Manlove, Jane Bianco, or Rick Cline.

 

Prayer Concerns:

  • Charlie M will be presented the Dale and Rita B “Outlive Your Life” award  on May 12. Doctors will be harvesting his stem cells the following week for a stem cell transplant in June. .
  • Lynn C is at Derby Health and Rehabilitation Center.
  • Continue to remember Julie S while she is in South Africa with her son, Shay M. 
  • Corky H’s brother, Dennis, is in the hospital with congestive heart failure and is not responding well to medication.
  • Walter C’s mother, Shirley, is in the hospital in Albuquerque, NM.
  • Herb G had a heart cath procedure last Saturday, and stents were inserted in a couple of arteries. He will go back into the hospital in two weeks to have another stent inserted.
  • Ken S continues to recover from his surgery for colon cancer. He is scheduled to be released from the hospital on May 9.
  • Donna B’s father, Clarence L, is being placed in hospice care this week.
  • Mary W spent a couple of days in the hospital earlier in the week, but she is now home.
  • Tammy I will be having tests done Friday at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. The result of these tests will determine  whether or not she can be placed on the list for a liver transplant.
  • Donna P is in the hospital undergoing medical tests for possible heart issues.
