RiverWalk Church of Christ (formerly Central Church of Christ) has been blessed with ministers who are deeply committed in their service for the Lord. Their responsibilities are varied, each sharing their gifts with those within our congregation, as well as those in need all around us. Curtis and Olya Curtis Baker has recently joined the staff of RiverWalk as Pulpit Minister. He is originally from Neosho, Missouri, and has been the minister for the Church of Christ in Slaton, Texas, for the last decade. Curtis and his wife Olya are both graduates of the Sunset International Bible Institute. Curtis also holds a Bachelor’s and Masters Degree from Lubbock Christian College. Olya is originally from Russia and came to the United States in 2000 to study at Sunset as a missionary. She holds a degree in Bible and Missions, as well as degrees from Russia in English and Russian literature. Curtis and Olya are the parents of 3 sons, Andrew, Luke and Elijah. Olya’s mother Valentina has also emigrated from Russia and lives with the family.


Jay Plank Jay Plank has been a member of the RiverWalk congregation since 2006, and currently serves as minister to adults and seniors, life goups, and adult Bible classes. Jay also began his service as an elder of the RiverWalk congregation in 2017. He attended Oklahoma Christian for a time and completed his degree in Business Management at Newman University in Wichita. He and his wife Pat have two grown sons and five grandchildren.
Jay brings a wide variety of experience to RiverWalk in preaching and teaching, management, human resources, mentoring, health care, geriatric service, and public service. He shares his insights on his personal blog at hubblefan.blogspot.com as well as this website.


Eric Manlove Eric Manlove has been a member of RiverWalk/Central/Cleveland Ave. Church of Christ his entire life. (Check out our History.) After graduating from Wichita North High, Eric attended and graduated from Harding University in 1976 with a B.A. in Theatre. He has been worship leader for our congregation since 1977 and became the Children’s Minister in 1998.Eric is married to Melody, a Certified Interpreter for the Deaf. Melody works with our Deaf Ministry. They have three children: Abe, who is married to Sally; Adam; and Ethan. They have also been blessed with two beautiful granddaughters, Leighton and Kennedy. All of the family is active in various ministries at RiverWalk Church. Among other things, Melody signs for the deaf members during worship assemblies and class, teaches Bible classes periodically and serves as a correspondent for Christ’s Prison Fellowship.Eric is active in the community through his volunteer work with the Wichita school system, Cub Scouts and various neighborhood activities. Eric, Ethan and Melody are active in Big Brothers / Big Sisters (BBBS) in Wichita. Eric loves to sing and has been a member of the Wichita Chamber Chorale and currently sings with the Wichita Broadway Singers, along with Melody, Abe, Sally and Adam. Eric leads the Praise Team at assemblies, which often includes Melody, Abe, Sally and Adam.


jonathan Jonathan Reynolds joined the RiverWalk ministry staff as Youth Minister in January 2014. A recent graduate in Youth and Family Ministry at Oklahoma Christian University, Jonathan served summer internships at Western Heights Church of Christ and Vancouver Church of Christ, as well as two years service at Memorial Road Church of Christ. His family consists of two dogs, Lily and Ruby.


Jim Fly serves as the Minister for Evangelism and Outreach. His prior ministry service includes church-plant minister, director of visitation programs, director of education programs, song leader, adult Bible teacher, deacon, and elder. He also served as a professional hospital chaplain. Jim’s secular work includes assignments in healthcare, medical marketing, and higher education.

Jim’s undergraduate degree is from Harding University in Psychology with minors in Bible, music, and social science. He completed Clinical Pastoral Education for professional hospital chaplains in the Baptist Healthcare System in San Antonio. Jim holds a master of arts degree in Professional Development with an emphasis in workforce training and counseling, and a master of science degree with dual majors in business and human relations. His masters degrees were taken at Amberton University, the former Dallas extension campus of Abilene Christian University.

Jim and his wife Carol met at Harding University and lived in Texas over 30 years before moving to Wichita in 2011. They have a daughter who lives in central Texas with her three children, and a son who lives with his wife and two children in south Texas. Carol is from North Little Rock, Arkansas and Jim is from the San Francisco bay area.
