I remember when Taylor B was baptized and then 2 years later Rich and I were baptized together. I have met many friends here and am eternally grateful. ~ Heather B

Following our son here from Derby and placing membership in 1980. Cindy and Scott’s marriage here in 1985 and them joining us here. The baptisms of Cassie, Michael, and Brandon. Bob becoming a deacon and our joy in door greeting and meeting others. I remember when life groups started and the support, love nd caring that has come from our special group. We are thankful for this congregation’s commitment to youth. ~ Bob and Janet S

In the early 1990′s, we visited Central and were impressed with “note taking” on the back of bulletins. We were able to retain more of the sermon through the week. In other words, we had good “spiritual food” with us all week. ~ Rex and Lynn
Tuesday morning Ladies Bible Class. So many of us were young mothers then and this class was fun and encouraging to all of us who were a part. “Group A” holds special memories for Bob and I. We served with Ken and Lynda, Joe and Julie, and later John and Shellee. It was our privilege to serve and honor our senior members. We received so many more blessings that we ever gave. Ralph and Iva gave us love and encouragement every monthly luncheon. ~ Donna Z
I remember Central as the place where I was married to Rebecca and the first church my daughter attended. And it all started by choosing it out of the phonebook randomly. ~ Patrick
I remember the dream and the planning and buying the property …. driving by and watching the building being built …. Wallace Case making reports on the progress of the building … moving day with a mixture of joy and sadness. I remember the first worship service at this building and all the excitement we felt. ~ Doris B
This is place where I met my life-long best friends who have seen me through some of the best and worst moments of my life. These are the people who have been a living example to my children of what christian friends are and why God places us in a church of a reason. ~ Buffy L

I remember good Bible class teaching. Many who take the leap of faith to adopt children into their homes, although they know there will be problems. James 1:27. Great givers and great hearts for missions. ~ Julie S
I remember my baptism in August of 2005. I remember my dad talking about me and how I cried because of all the amazing things he said about me. I remember the congratulations I received and how loved and special I felt. I also remember Dennis Hogue; he was my role model my whole life. He mentored me as I worked on earning my Joyful Servant award and he was part of the reason for my decision to be baptized. he was one of the most amazing spiritual people I have ever met! ~ Emily G
Central (now RiverWalk) was the first church family I have ever known. When I came, I did not know how to speak English. Everyone was kind to me and I have learned so much and have made so many friends. ~ Zina B.
Vacation Bible School ~ every morning for a week. We had learning centers and kept the kids moving. Must have been in the 80′s. Donna Z and I took pictures of costumed kids. Sometimes we couldn’t tell them apart when the pictures came back! ~ Jane B
Tuesday morning ladies bible Class with its incredible connectness and support for young mothers and their babies. Now those babies are having babies and the young mothers have evolved into grandmothers. What a legacy! ~ Kathryn B
Serve Wichita ~ baking cookies and taking them to the fire station ~ blacklight puppets
