The Church on Fire ~ Todd Brumley (Room 32)
High School Class (grades 9-12)Many times we as individuals have experiences of “being on fire” for the Lord, but what does it look like for a church to “be on fire” for the Lord? Through the first 14 chapters of Acts, we will look at the first century church and examine their lifestyle, attitude, and faith and how those ideas led them to be “the Church on Fire”.
No Turning Back ~ A study on discipleship
Middle School Class (grades 6-8)We are familiar with the concept of following Jesus, but what does that really mean? Does that mean for me and my life here on earth? In this 7-week course, we will be looking in depth at what it really means to be a disciple of Jesus. We will look at what it will cost you and we will see the promises God makes to you if you commit your life to Him.
Wednesday night, 7 p.m.
The Blazin’ Challenge ~ Todd Brumley, Room 32
All TeensOur evening class will be focused on worshipping together and learning how to keep all that God has done for us close to our hearts. Throughout the semester our worship will be supplemented by watching a video series by Ray Vander Laan, and splitting up into smaller groups for more in-depth discussion about how we can keep God’s blessings close to our heart.
If you are in 7th – 12th grade, we invite you to be part of the Teen Group of RiverWalk Church of Christ.
From time to time, we will post the PowerPoint presentation that our teens will see in a session. Although it can be valuable as a review for the teens, it is particularly important for the parents to view so that they understand and can share with their children. These presentations can be viewed by using the “buttons” on the viewer. You may also download the presentation to your computer.
