RiverWalk Church of Christ has long been a supporter of both international and national missions efforts. Click on one of the following titles to read about specific ministries in each category of which we have been a part.
One of the key elements of our vision is to focus attention on ministry in the Delano neighborhood. One piece of this dream includes planting a church in that area, but it would be a different kind of process than has been utilized by our congregation in decades past. TodVogt, a representative of Mission Alive ministry, will be at RiverWalk on Sunday, October 25, to share with us how Mission Alive partners with congregations to expand the kingdom of God through church planting efforts. There will be combined adult classes October 25, followed by a lunch where more information will be shared. This information session is open to any RiverWalk member who would like to attend. In doing preliminary work on what this urban ministry might look like, we have been looking to Mission Alive as a possible partner in this church planting process. This will be an opportunity to hear more about how a partnership might help us advance what we believe is God’s vision for RiverWalk.
