Simple House

Through this ministry, food is distributed to those who need it two days a week. Clothing is also available at this facility. Other area congregations of the churches of Christ also support this ministry. To schedule an appointment with a Simple House worker, please call 303-9994.

Simple House Hours:

  • Monday, 12 noon — 2:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. — 1:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, 7:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m.

Simple House Update

Simple House continues to benefit many families in the Wichita area. Recently, volunteers compiled statistics for 2011. These numbers reflect the impact of our efforts:

  • We served 740 family units which included a total of 1846 family members.
  • Of those 740 family units, 305 were new clients never before served by Simple House.
  • Eight different congregations consistently provided financial support and/or food and clothing contributions.
  • Over 50 different volunteers, from 8 different churches, gave their time and energy to Simple House.

Our “Now Is The Time” campaign included a significant financial commitment to expand the work of Simple House. We will begin dreaming and planning for what this expansion might look like. If you are interested in having input, contact Mary Manlove, Jane Bianco, or Rick Cline.
